HTC VS Huawei on Facebook

Facebook is a great way for brands to market their products to their consumers. HTC and Huawei are two brands that use their presence to get more people talking about the company and the product. Both companies use Facebook to discuss their products, images of the products and industry related news. HTC and Huawei both update their Facebook posts usually 1 time a day. Over the past 2 weeks, rarely are there more than a post a day on both Facebook pages. I believe that both brands don’t effectively use the 50//50 rule effectively. The brands both promote their content more than any other post on the page.

A successful post for HTC, which is a promotion for their flagship phone, the HTC One A9, with over 200 more likes than the next best successful post

The most successful post for Huawei is a promotion for their most selling phone, with more than double the likes of any post in 2 weeks.

Looking at the two most successful posts of both companies, we can see that promotion works the best in getting people to talk about your product. New information about products gets people talking, and leads to more clicks on your webpage.
